Happy Friday, Ford Street! This week, I am pondering the many wonderful people of this congregation I have had the chance to connect with over the past few months. Some of you have expressed interest in becoming more connected, learning more about the church, and even have had some theological questions for me about faith and United Methodist doctrine. If this sounds like a journey you are on, I would love to have you join me THIS Sunday for a New Member Interest Class following worship at 11:00 am in the youth room upstairs. We will have a time of learning, conversation, and fellowship. For worship, we will be concluding our series “Bible Stories for Grown Ups” by diving into the story of Jesus healing a blind man, found in the Gospel of Mark. **This Sunday, we will be gathering in the coffee shop at 9:15 am to bless the new large cross on the wall and to pray over the coffee shop ministry. There will also be free samples! Come early and spend some time with friends in Gathering Grounds. Next Sunday, September 24, we will have our Life Group Launch following worship; and at 6:00 pm, join us out at Trinity Life Center for a Fireside Praise worship experience!
