Dear Ford Street Friends,
This week, I have been pondering some “behind the scenes” work and people that help make our church and congregation so great. One group that stands out to me is our tech booth crew! These people help make worship happen on Sunday mornings, whether it’s running the microphones, slides for songs and visuals, or getting our livestream up and running so people can worship with us online.
Special thanks to Bob Wayman, Jaydon Rodriguez, Mike Tharp, Elizabeth Cress, and Andy Griffin, and Sylas Griffin for their help and dedication to this vital behind the scenes ministry.
While these wonderful people do an extraordinary job, they need a break from time to time! This is where YOU might come in! Our tech team is in need of some more people to assist with worship responsibilities on Sunday mornings. While it may sound intimidating at first, they are willing to help anyone learn the ins and outs of the tech booth. If this speaks to you in any way, please reach out to me or Bob Wayman. We would love to have you in the tech booth from time to time!
Speaking of worship, this week we will continue the sermon series “Bible Stories for Grown Ups” with the story of Zachhaeus! I know the song about him being a “wee little man” is already in your head! Come join us as we look again at this beloved story.
In Christ,
Pastor Jill
