Scouts BSA
Formerly known as "Boy Scouts", Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience for youth aged 10-17. Service, community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
Lapel Troop 361 usually camps monthly and enjoys hiking, caving, fishing, and kayaking/canoeing. If your boy wants to get outside and have some adventure, this program is for him.
Youth can join Scouts BSA if they are at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade and register on or after March 1st; OR, are age 11 but have not reached age 18.
Note: Girls interested in this program are encouraged to visit Troop 262 in Pendleton. They have great leaders and a wonderful group of scouts.
