Welcome to Ford Street Church! We're glad you're here.
On the first Palm Sunday, the crowds in Jerusalem weren't just singing a hymn; they were staging a protest. They were tired of the system, tired of being pushed around, and they were demanding a "Warrior King" who would flip the tables on their enemies and put them back on top.
If we’re honest, we get that longing. We all have parts of our lives where we’re crying out for a "Hosanna"—looking for a leader, a program, or a quick fix to ride in and solve the mess.
But as we continue our journey through the Gospel of John, we find ourselves at a strange crossroads. We see the King on a donkey in chapter 12, surrounded by cheers, but we also see the King on a cross in chapter 19, surrounded by scorn.
Don't forget to say 'hello' in the comments!
